The heart of the Family

" Ua ou tau le taua lelei, ua i'u ia te a'u le tausinoga, ua ou taofi le faatuatua" (II Timoteo 4:8)

"Amuia e ua oti, o e ua oti o i le Ali'i, ina ia latou malolo ia latou galuega tiga; aua fo'i o a latou galuega e mulimuli ia te i latou" ( Fa'aliga 14:13)

We called him "PAPA". My grandpa  was a devoted husband, as we all came to know, his tallent was construction. He was not only devoted to his wife, kids and family...He was also a religious person, beleiving that faith will always give in different ways. He is the heart of our family. One thing I will always remember my grandfather, is...he's always keeping a smile on his face, knowing the complications of his illness, he thrived and lived until it was his time. There is nothing in this world I would ever want to change about this "Papa" of mine. I beleive this man was one of the greatest men I have ever met in my life time.

"O lenei tama sa iloa lana auaunaga i le pese ma le kamuta, ua tele fo'i ni galuega tetele ua ia faia mo lona aiga, nu'u, ekalesia ma le atunu'u."

LOVING YOU ALWAYS

Nese, Pa, and I just making faces to the camera... Those were the days! I'm forever missing these moments. I'm consitantly thinking, how is he? is he doing alright? where is he? wats he been up to? From what I remember, he's probably drinking that beer bottle, walking around with an ukulele, singing his choir songs... This is a man who just loves to sing!!! Papa, i'll see you in the heaven's above when its my calling!!! You can bet on that!

The Soul of the Family

This would be my Grandma, doing what she does best!!! My grandma and grandpa would be considered the heart and soul of our family. My grandma, is still strong and alive, traveling the world when she has time. She is a loving and caring individual. Constantly at church for rosary, and praying for everyong. When her best friend/Husband passed on, everyone in our family shed tears. This was the only person I seen to be the strongest and not let emotions get to her. She looked at the bright side, other than what we see. That our grandpa was in a better place, no more pain or suffering. And that Pa was always going to be with her in her heart, or in the air up above. Stairing down and watching over us, 24/7. My grandma, just like "Pa" is also devoted to her church, family, kids and especially grandkids. Her seeing her grandchildren grow I think is her happiness.  She loves to "kick it" (yes kick it) with us grandkids I can tell you that. Where there are family functions, you will always see my grandma coming down from Samoa to represent us. One thing that makes this lady exstatic is BINGO... who am I to blame, I think everyone loves bingo...

Rest In Peace Papa....Loving you always and forever!
